Sarah Harris has confessed that one of her TV moments was almost a disaster.
The Sunday Project star told her co-hosts during this weekend's episode that she once dropped her mic down the loo seconds before she was due live on air.
'I have dropped my mic in the toilet, this was minutes before the very first time I filled in for the queen,Sandra Sully, and read the news in Sydney,' Sarah explained.
'I had five minutes to use the bathroom and had these mic packs on and racing to do the last nervous wee before the bulletin' she went on.
'I popped my pants down and heard a plop, plop' Sarah said, realising in horror she had dropped her mic pack into the loo.
'I wrapped it in toilet paper, lifted my pants back up,didn't zip up and ran out.'
Her crew was less than impressed, and she explained: 'Audio is yelling at me. I ask,"Can I put this in rice or something?" They said you have to wing it.'
Luckily,it worked out for Sarah and the live cross went ahead as planned despite her panic.

'You have a piercing gaze too,' Austin teased back,to which a blushing Sarah replied,'Do I?'
'Yeah,I'd say so,' Austin drawled, with Sarah giggling,'You're making me nervous now!'
It was Austin who found himself starstruck recently.
While promoting his latest film The Bikeriders on Today, the Golden Globe winner told anchor Savannah Guthrie about one actor he was too shy to talk to after what could have been a spur of the moment meeting.
'I was just telling that story about getting starstruck by Ryan Gosling recently,' he said.
'It's when you don't expect to see somebody,' he relayed, adding,'so I saw him outside of a hotel that I was staying in and I had to go in through another door,I couldn't say "hello."'
'I grew up admiring him so much,so... I love that feeling,' the Dune: Part Two star admitted.
